Veteran actress Navni Parihar, seen as Rano is Colors’ Punjabi family drama Bani Ishq Da Kalma, will be seen essaying vital role of Tahira Kocchar’s mother in the upcoming romantic comedy film Rabba Main Kya Karoon.
Directed by Amrit Sagar Chopra and produced by Moti Sagar, the film features Akash Chopra, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Tahira Kocchar and Riya Sen as main characters.
Talking about her character and shooting experience, Navni said, “I play a rich, up-market, typical Punjabi woman, who loves to show off. I get to wear lovely saris since the movie shows a Punjabi wedding. Apart from a scene, we also had dance sequences together. Also, we were shooting in -3° tempertatures, but when I asked for a shawl, I was told that Delhi women don't wear warm clothes no matter what the temperature because they love to show off their dresses.”
Apart from this rom-com, Navni has also started shooting for documentary drama Pradhanmantri. She will see playing role of Politician Indira Gandhi in the flick.
