Starring popular actors like Kushal Tandon, Karan Tacker, Krystle D'souza and Niaa Sharma in the leads, the show got the extension of two month in June. Now it is confirmed by sources that it will last only till September 13 and the cast and the crew has been informed about the latest development.
It is also reported that the makers initially wanted to introduce a leap factor but the actors weren’t willing to age on screen. “Taking a time leap required the actors to age on the screen and become parents. However, the cast refused to continue with the show, which has left the channel with no option but to end it on a happy note next month. Apparently, Kushal aka Virat had almost quit the show last month but the makers promised him a better storyline and wanted him to stay put. With the new storyline requiring him to become a father, the actor has declined,” says a report featured a month back.
Producer Siddharth Malhotra also confirmatedthe news. He said, “The channel didn't want to shut the show. Both the channel and the production house tried reasoning with the cast. But since they are unwilling to play parents on screen, we have to forcibly end the show.”
Now, it is finalized that Ek Hazaaron Mein will end this September. “Yes, it's true that Ek Hazaaron... is ending on September 13. It's confirmed,” said sources.
