Yes, this new character will be played by veteran actress Swati Chitnis, who was last seen in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon playing Arnav’s (Barun Sobti) dadiji. The actress said she is set to bring more drama, twist and turns in the show as there is a mystery attached with her entry.
While Falak will be seen in the negative role, Swati as her grandmother, who is also a friend of Mataji, will be seen playing grey shades in the show.
Swati, who has also done shows like Bhai Bhaiya Aur Brother, Laagi Tujhse Lagan, said, “I don't know what is going to happen, but I can tell that a lot is going to happen now onwards. I am an old friend of Mataji and I am about to meet her after 20 years, so let's see what happens afterwards. It's a good feeling. I am enjoying a lot. It's my first day of shoot.”
