Lata Sabharwal restarts shooting for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai!

Lata Sabharwal Seth, seen as Akshara’s (Hina Khan) mother Rajshri in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, was blessed with a baby boy three months back. She took a maternity leave from the show but now it seems the beautiful mother and actress is all set to resume her work commitments.

She has rejoined the shooting after a short hiatus and said she is feeling good being back on the show and meeting her co-stars after a long gap. “I enjoyed shooting for the show today. I was feeling really good being back on the show and meeting my co-actors after a long time,” said Lata after her first short.

Talking about how she is managing work and taking care of her new born baby, Lata said, “The production house has been very supportive and helpful. They have allowed me to shoot for only 3 to 4 hours a day so that I can give equal time to my son too. I had shot in advance for the show before I went on leave so that my absence is not shown on the show. I found this idea very creative too.”

Though both mom and dad (Sanjeev Seth) shoot for the same show, Lata decides to keep her son home and not get him on the sets for now, “I feel he is too small and hence I decide not to get him on sets even though me and Sanjeev are shooting together. In those 3 to 4 hours that I am working his grandmothers are taking care of him and enjoying being with their grandson.”

Hina Khan loves her TV serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai the most!

Beautiful and talented Hina Khan, who has become household name portraying Akshara’s character in Star Plus’ long running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has said that for her there is no opportunity bigger in comparison with her love for her debut show Yeh Rishta.

Premiered on January 2009, the show has continuously been ruling over roots of TRP with captivating storyline and enchanting performances including Hina’s. It has recently completed 1,200 episodes and for the protagonist the achievement is larger than life.

“There have been so many opportunities where I felt there won't be anything bigger than this and I thought let me just quit Yeh Rishta... and start doing that. But whenever I have a choice, Yeh Rishta... is always the first love and nothing compares to it at least for me,” Hina said. She was speaking at the event where the team was celebrating the show's success.

The show, which has Karan Mehra in male lead with many talented cast characters, had recently flagged its name high. It won the golden honour for completing 1,000 episodes at the recently held 2013 Boroplus Gold Awards.

Elated Hina said, “Twelve hundred episodes is a long journey and we also cut a cake. We are cutting another cake. Actually, we have cut many cakes till now for the show and also, the number of awards that all of us together have won for the show is more than 60. This is a huge achievement,” she said.
