Vikas Sethi is nervous to make comeback!

It was Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi of Star Plus, where handsome actor Vikas Sethi stepped into the fascinating world of television.

After that he appeared in popular shows like Kahiin Toh hoga, Kasautii Zindagi Kii and Geet Hui Sabse Parayi. The fourth season of Nach Baliye welcomed him as a participant with his ex-wife, Amita. Vikas Sethi went missing from the tube after Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, except for a cameo in Color’s Uttaran. Now, back with a negative role, Vikas said, “I believe people prefer me in such roles. It's too early to talk about it, but it's a powerful, performance-oriented role. Dark characters offer much scope to perform.”

He further added that he is as nervous more like a newcomer about making a comeback after two years. “A lot of things which needed my attention. Also, after working non-stop for 13 years, I needed time off. Now that I am back, it feels like I am making my acting debut all over again,” he averred.

Reportedly, two years back, Vikas divorced his wife and not only this he also faced an emotional turmoil. He hit the rock bottom in his life, succumbing to alcohol and depression. The financial crunch took a toll on his life, keeping him dejected and away from work.

Now, Vikas is completely ready to play his second innings. We wish him success and a better career!

Rucha Gujarati wants to connect to audience with her negative shade in Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se!

Beautiful and talented Rucha Gujarati is gearing up to widen her horizons with portrayal of negative character in her upcoming show Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se. She has been roped in to play antagonist opposite Vikas Sethi (Jaswant Rana).

Produced by Film Farm, the new show will air on Zee TV and features Arhaan Behl and Mansi Srivastav as protagonist. It will also see talented actors like Alok Nath, Akshat Gupta and Parneet Chauhan in prominent roles.

Rucha, who will essay the role of Mahima, said, “I have got an opportunity to play a very interesting character in this show. Viewers will definitely identify with Mahima because there’s one such character in almost every household. She is not evil but turns grey depending on situations. She is simply materialistic and power hungry. It's actually fun to play such a character as it adds another dimension to the story.”

Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se is a love story of Raghu and Shivani. Shivani is like a princess in a castle and Raghu is her grandfather's (Alok Nath) assistant who survives on a meagre income.

Talking about her role, Rucha elaborated, “Mahima has seen many ups and downs in her father's business while growing up and so, she has turned into a shrewd young women and a greedy opportunist. I have extremely fond memories of working with Zee TV in shows like Waaris and Ramayan. Can't wait to start shooting for this one.”

Hope you nail the art Rucha!
